You can place the contact button on each page of website for people to contact you when they need help. Clicking on the contact button opens up a new window for a live chat conversation (if no agent is online the message will get sent as an email for you to follow up later).

How to customise the chat/contact button
1. Go to the Admin Settings, and next to Channels
2. Select Appearance from the left-hand menu
3. Under the Customise chat window choose:

- The positioning of the button. (This relates to where on the page you want the contact button to appear).
- The label for the button. Eg, if you input ‘Contact’, visitors to your site will see a button that says ‘Contact’.
- The color. This refers to the background color of the button.
- The language. Updating the language will change the language of the pre-chat form fields (‘name’, ‘email’, ‘question’) and the ‘submit’ and ‘close’ buttons that appear in the chat window.

4. The script is automatically generated with every update you make. When you’ve finished making your customisations just copy the script and paste it in your website’s HTML footer code.

Voila, you have a customised chat button on your website.
